1.What is the standard hole spacing?
The standard center-to-center distance between the two mounting holes for most shower faucets in China is 150mm, and most residences are pre-installed according to this standard.
2. What if the hole spacing is off?
During installation, faucets usually come with an S-bend adapter or curved joint, which can adjust for an error of about ±16mm, allowing installation even if the pipe spacing on the wall is off.
3. How to measure accurately?
When measuring, use a tape measure to measure the straight-line distance from the center of the two holes to the center of the hole. Do not measure the edge of the hole. The distance between the two holes for wall-mounted faucets may be around 14.5cm.
Before purchasing, it is recommended to confirm the hole spacing in your home. Basin faucets may have different hole spacing specifications such as 100mm, 150mm, and 200mm, while shower faucets are mainly 150mm.
